A Transition Louis XV/XVI Ormolu-Mounted Kingwood Parquetry Commode

Circa 1765

Stamped BOUDIN JME, reçu maître on march 4th 1761.

The rectangular brêche d'Alep marble top above two long drawers sans traverse; raised on short cabriole legs; the front and sides veneered to form chevron parquetry and fitted with ormolu handles and keyhole escutcheons.
